The Revolt that Stirred the World!
Paratrooper commander Colonel Mathieu, a former French Resistance fighter during World War II, is sent to Algeria to reinforce efforts to squelch the uprisings of the Algerian War. There he faces Ali la Pointe, a former petty criminal who, as the leader of the Algerian Front de Liberation Nationale, directs terror strategies against the colonial French government occupation. As each side resorts to ever-increasing brutality, no violent act is too unthinkable.
أكتوبر 1957. مظليو العقيد ماتيو يحاصرون ملجأ علي لا بوينت، المسؤول عن حرب العصابات في المناطق الحضرية. خلال ساعات حبسه القسري، يسترجع علي الرحلة التي نقلته من وضع المجرم والقواد إلى وضع زعيم حرب العصابات لجبهة التحرير الوطني. نوفمبر 1954، بدء التنظيم الإرهابي نشاطه في الجزائر؛ وكانت هذه أولى الهجمات بالقنابل في الحانات ومحطات القطارات ودور السينما في "المدينة الأوروبية". يصبح علي أحد قادة التنظيم، تحت قيادة بن مهيدي، بينما يصل المظليون إلى الجزائر العاصمة بترحيب من السكان الأوروبيين. الكولونيل ماتيو، مستفيدًا من الإضراب، يدخل الحي العربي ويقوم بأول الاعتقالات...
