A traveler between two countries metaphorically named "Easternstan" and "Westernstan" loses his passport and identity papers. Stuck between the two countries he can neither cross the frontiers nor get back to where he came from. He's forced to camp in the neutral area between the two countries, facing a lot of funny situations while there. The movie satirizes the ideology of Arab unity and cooperation at the state level.
يسخر الفيلم من إدعاء الوحدة العربية والتعاون العربي من خلال سائق مسافر بين بلدين، تدعى الغربية غربستان والشرقية شرقستان، تشاء الصدف أثناء مروره في المنطقة الواقعة بين البلدين أن تضيع أوراقه الثبوتية وجواز سفره، فلا يستطيع العودة إلى بلده المنشأ ولا دخول البلد الآخر. يضطر أن يخيم في منطقة تتوسط المسافة بين البلدين على خط الحدود تماما ضمن أحداث كوميدية من خلال تعامله مع أنماط مختلفة من الناس يلتقي بهم على الحدود. تقع العديد من المفارقات والمعاكسات حتى تفرج عليه
