يبدأ المسلسل حلقاته بالعلاقة الأكثر قداسة وهي الحب، مستعيدًا حكاية روميو وجولييت إلى عصرنا بقصة معاصرة تعتمد على طريقة الفلاش باك، وتستعيد أحداثًا منذ مطلع الألفية ووصولا إلى زمننا الحالي. الحكاية في شكلها حكاية حب ولكنها في المضمون تصور كيف يتعامل الإنسان السوري مع احساسه بوطنه سواء من خلال علاقات الحب أو بشكل مباشر.
