Overview

Shu Cheng, the daughter of the prestigious Shu family, is forced to disguise herself as a frivolous playgirl to conceal her talents, which pose a threat to the Emperor. She aims to elevate the remarkable Shen Ye to the status of a yiji, a high-class courtesan, but soon discovers that Shen Ye has multiple identities, making it challenging to differentiate allies from adversaries. Amid the tumultuous power struggles, the two must collaborate, but their conflicting identities turn them into the closest of enemies.

Overview

In the turbulent Chu dynasty, the Empress's son, Shen Ye, rebels to avenge his father and claim the throne for his beloved, Crown Prince Shu Cheng. However, Shu Cheng’s opposition to bloodshed forces Shen Ye to abandon his plans, leaving Chu vulnerable to invasion and rumors of Shu Cheng's death on the battlefield. Years later, Shen Ye, now a ruthless regent obsessed with finding Shu Cheng, is drawn out of hiding by a princess who resembles his lost love.
