In 1918 Damascus, after the downfall of the Ottoman Empire and before the French colonization of the country, six Damascene neighborhoods decide to choose one head to rule over them, only for clashes over the throne to crystalize and extend.
يتناول المسلسل حقبة من الزمان مرت بها مدينة دمشق من عام 1918 بعد زوال الاحتلال العثماني وقبل احتلالها من قبل الفرنسيين وحتى عام 1948، حيث ستة حارات دمشقية تقرر مجتمعةً الاتفاق على تعيين زعيم أوحد لها، فتبدأ الصراعات على منصب الزعامة الكبرى، بالإضافة إلى المنتفعين من وراء إشعال نار الفتنة والتفرق، إلى تقع حادثة توحدهم من جديد.
