ثلاثة محامين أصدقاء، جمعت بينهم الزمالة، وفرقت بينهم المصالح والأهواء، أولهم فتحي نوفل الذي يتحول من محامي ملتزم إلى انتهازي يصعد اجتماعيًا حتى يصبح مدير مكتب الوزير رشدي، أما زميله علي الزناتي فينضم إلى الجماعات المتطرفة دينيًا ليحقق مكاسب مالية بالدفاع عمن يقع تحت طائلة القانون، أما الثالث محسن فيكتفي بالعمل كموظف بسيط في إحدى الشركات، ويظل بعيدًا عن الصراع الدائر بين الحكومة والجماعات المتطرفة.
